Most recently, Noor has racked up acclaim and mentions in numerous gourmet guides. One of the most significant of these is without a doubt its newly granted star in the 2017 Michelin Guide to Spain and Portugal.
Located in the chef’s hometown of Córdoba (Andalusia), Noor is more than just a temple of gastronomy, it is also a history, anthropology and cultural research project rolled into one and relayed in the form of mouthwatering cuisine prepared using authentic ingredients and avant-garde culinary techniques.
Noor’s premise is to pay homage to Andalusí cuisine from the tenth to thirteenth centuries, reflecting the flavors and gastronomic inspirations of a culture that created many of the foundations of contemporary Spanish cuisine.
