I admit I’ve never had much of a sweet tooth. Sugary desserts are pretty much lost on me, (except of course for things with cheese and dark chocolate).
Salty, or savory foods, are definitely more my thing, and so it should come as no surprise that if you hand me a jar of Spanish olives, pickles or other pickled vegetables like capers or chili peppers, I will eat every last one of them (and then probably drink the juice right out of the jar).
The fact is that there is such a huge variety to choose from – especially when it comes to Spanish table olives – that you can never really get tired of snacking on these wonderfully briny, healthy and tangy treats.
And of course, if you get tired of eating plain olives and pickles, don’t forget that there are a whole range of different combinations for stuffed Spanish olives – including those that combine more than one of these savory Spanish products.
