With the hot weather finally here to stay I have started yearning for crisp and cold foods like salads to keep me refreshed on hot summer days and nights.

At the same time, with my busy schedule and generally ravenous family, I have to make sure to prepare food that is both healthy and hearty enough to keep us going. This is where these three salads from the Recipes section of Foods and Wines from Spain come in.

Prepared using either meat or fish, as well as greens, different vegetables and other ingredients, these three salads are packed with protein, good-for-you ingredients, lots of flavor and the taste of summer in Spain. Enjoy!
