Nuts for Spanish Nuts

Spanish almonds / Matías Costa – ICEX

So, here’s how my mind works: summer = salads = salad toppings = nuts. It seems like an obvious train of thought to me, but then again, perhaps not everyone is as obsessed as I am with finding uses for delicious Spanish nuts in just about every dish, no matter the season.

Almonds, walnuts, pine nuts, hazelnuts and even the oh-so-wintery chestnuts (excellent year-round preserved in syrup, wine and in other formats). Spanish nuts are top-quality products that are good either raw or toasted, or as key ingredients in any number of Spanish dishes, ranging from appetizers, to soups, sauces, meat, fish and desserts, and so much more.

Learn more about these versatile and delicious Spanish products in the “Nuts & Dried Fruit” page in the extremely useful Products & Recipes section on Foods and Wines from Spain.
