We know, we know, Spanish extra virgin olive oil is not only delicious, but also good for us!

Nowadays it really doesn’t seem like people need any more convincing when it comes to the  benefits of consuming olive oil. Even so, it’s hard not to be impressed by the staggering results from the Spanish PREDIMED study, which demonstrates the multiple positive effects of olive oil on different types of cardiovascular illnesses.

This study, which has been published in various prestigious international publications, and included in the 2015 report on Dietary Guidelines compiled by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Agriculture (USDA), is just one more reason why consumers should stock up on Spanish extra virgin olive oil and make it a regular part of their diets.
