Madrid is famous all over the world for its museums, culture, food, history, people, weather and much more… including, it turns out, its wines!

Wineries in the region of Madrid have been on the up and up, making a name for themselves both in Spain and abroad, creating an enduring buzz about their excellent wines and, of course, the stories behind and people who make them.

One such example is Madrid winery Bernabeleva, which is located in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, around 45 minutes from the Spanish capital.

This winery has been catching the eye of wine lovers all over the world for more than a decade, and it currently exports around 80% of production – destined for different corners of the globe.
