When you start thinking about the aperitivo (aperitif) hour in Spain (usually around midday on a Saturday or Sunday), there is just no avoiding the word “vermouth”… ah, but what a sweet word it is.

Spanish vermouth is ubiquitous to the aperitivo hour, which is the perfect time to get together with friends or family before lunch on a weekend and enjoy this oh-so-Spanish drink accompanied by a simple tapa of pickled vegetables, olives, anchovies or other delights.
