It’s called EXPOLIVA, but it could just as well be called the LIOOCW, or the Largest International Olive Oil Congress in the World!
Either way, this hugely important international conference is going on right now in the city of Jaén, Andalusia, bringing together more than 340 companies from the world olive oil industry – an industry that is present on 5 continents and in 47 countries.
From May 6th – 9th, this conference will offer these professionals the chance to learn about the latest hot topics in the olive oil industry, including trends, tourism, new products, nutrition, sustainability, and more… while reaffirming old, and making new business connections.
Additionally, there will be some 250 conferences and a not-to-miss exposition of the world’s 100 best olive oils.
Held every two years (this is the 17th edition), this event is the place to be if you’re in the world olive oil industry…
Just a reminder, Spain is the world leader in terms of olive oil production and sales, and Jaén is the capital of this production, given that this region produces around half of all Spanish olive oil.
