Roca Brothers are “Cooking Up a Tribute”

The Palo Cortado Mystery is just one of the secrets of Spanish gastronomy that will be revealed during the Culinary Cinema segment of the upcoming Berlinale Film Festival in Berlin.

On February 10th, Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca will star in “Cooking Up a Tribute”, a documentary that follows these three award winning professionals and their entire team from three-Michelin-star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, as they spend five weeks on the road last summer.

Their destination? Six cities in four different countries (Houston, Dallas, Mexico City, Monterrey, Bogota and Lima) where they visited local chefs, producers and markets, and created their own interpretations of local dishes and ingredients. Along the way they also taught classes in local culinary schools, created 56 new dishes, and cooked around 50,000 dishes for more than 2,700 people at a range of different venues.
