The chefs will participate in the International Tapas Competition in November

The dates have been set for the 2015 ICEX Training Program in Spanish Gastronomy, a highly prestigious scholarship program that has trained more than 200 young international chefs in the ins and outs of Spanish gastronomy, products, Avant-garde cooking techniques, cuisine and culture since it was started in 2007.

Mugaritz, Miramar, Átrio, and Cenador de Amós are just a few of the top-name Spanish restaurants that will welcome twelve international culinary students (or recent graduates) into their kitchens during this six-month program, which also consists of six-week language and culinary training segment at the International School of Culinary Arts Fernando Pérez in Valladolid (Castile-León), a two-week tour of Spain, and competition in the International Tapas Competition in November 2015.

This year’s program will take place from June 8th through November 6th, 2015.
