Thanksgiving is tomorrow and if you’re anything like me you have been carefully planning your menu for weeks now. Though I tend to read a lot of magazines and articles with ideas for the Thanksgiving feast, I tend to take my inspiration more from what I see at the market and what’s fresh and delicious in Spain this time of year – which is just about everything you could possibly want, of course.
In addition to the food, it’s just as important to carefully select what you’re going to drink on Thanksgiving, thereby providing an ideal counterbalance for the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and whatever else you have planned for this special day.
For the perfect pairing for all this and more, why not try a fantastic Spanish rosado wine. Made all over Spain, but particularly characteristic of regions like DO Navarra, DO Montsant, DO Ribera del Duero, DO Yecla and others, Spanish rosé wines represent a wide variety of grapes, styles and types of wine – all of which are sure to go well with turkey!
Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!
