With Spain’s enormous Alimentaria trade fair right around the corner – kicking off in Barcelona on March 31st – it seems that ’tis the season for international food fairs.

For starters, Eurogastro 2014 commences today in Poland, featuring wines, gourmet food items, cookware and other tools and products for the restaurant and hotel industries. One of the Spanish companies on-hand for this international fair is Interóleo, an olive oil collective from Jaen (Extremadura) that sells some 55,000 tons of Spanish olive oil a year and has a strong international presence.

Then, on March 28th, the 90th edition of the Chengdu China Food and Drinks Fair gets underway. Lasting until March 31st, visitors to this prestigious international fair will be able to learn more about Spanish food and beverage products at the informative “Spain” pavilion organized by ICEX during this biannual event, which attracts upwards of 300,000 visitors and 3,000 exhibitors.

Stay tuned for more updates on all the goings on at Alimentaria and more!
