Mugaritz, A Natural Science of Cooking (Phaidon)

I confess that I’m somewhat addicted to cookbooks, and so every few months I need to get my fix.

After the dark and rainy winter that we’ve had in Madrid, I prefer to find something that stirs my innermost kitchen fantasies, such as two-star Michelin chef Andoni Luis Aduriz’s 2012 tome, Mugaritz, A Natural Science of Cooking.

Published by Phaidon, this 256-page cookbook provides an inside look at the creativity and story behind some of this chef’s most iconic recipes, which are, or have been, served at his world-famous Basque Country restaurant Mugaritz.

With in-depth information and seventy recipes, this gorgeous cookbook is plenty to keep the intrepid home chef fascinated and busy for quite some time.
