Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

In the interest of avoiding cliches in honor of this day – like providing you with a list of recipes featuring green ingredients – I thought it would be best to give a few Spanish tapas bars and restaurants in the Irish capital city.

Dublin has several Spanish restaurants actually, and here are a couple of the highlights:

The Port House is perhaps one of the most well-known. With three different locations in Dublin (The Port House, Bar Pintxo and Ibéricos), each features its own take on Spanish food, but all particularly focused on offering a wide selection of Basque inspired hot and cold tapas – featuring products directly imported from Spain – and an excellent selection of Spanish wines and sherries. The group also has a location in London’s West End.

Another place to go if your in the mood for Spanish food in Dublin is Cafe H, a restaurant inspired by tapas bars in Barcelona and San Sebastian – with a distinctly Mediterranean feel.

So whether you’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Spain or Ireland this year and want to top off your green beer with a couple of Spanish tapas, you are never short on options!
