Fruit Attraction kicks off next week in Madrid, shining the spotlight on the Spanish and fruit and vegetable market.
From October 16th – 18th, the Spanish capital will be hosting yet another edition of this international fair, which is held annually in the city’s IFEMA convention center and organized through a joint effort between FEPEX (the Spanish Federation of Associations of Exporting Producers of Fruit, Vegetables, Flowers and Plants), Spain Trade and Investment (ICEX) and IFEMA.
As with the past few editions of this fair, Fruit Attraction also provides the framework for a variety of complementary activities and initiatives, among them culinary seminar Fruit Fuision and the Ruta de la Semana de la Verdura (the Vegetable Week Tour), which starts today and lasts until the end of next week.
The latter of these is a great excuse to hit the streets of Madrid and enjoy the third edition of this now-annual event, for which some thirty restaurants throughout the capital shine the light on Spanish produce through special menus and tapas created just for this occasion.
So, whatever you do this weekend, there’s no better time then now to make sure you eat all your veggies!!
