Spain is a big deal in the tomato industry. Production, export, consumption, tomatoes play a significant role in this country – particularly when talking about its gastronomy.
With dishes like gazpacho, salmorejo and pisto forming part of the repertoire of traditional Spanish cuisine, it’s no surprise that tomatoes are so beloved here in Spain.
